<Stating The Bleedin Obvious>

It comes from a TVR Tuscan!

I am guessing you need a replacement, have you tried TVR? They are not always more expensive, worth a call - they may even tell you where else to try

I'm guessing you've got a (reasonably) early car. And that the blower has packed in, but the heater temp. control dial still seems to have some effect.

If this is the case, what you'll probably find on closer inspection (and I could be wrong here, but it's not unheard of ) is that one of the pins in the electric gubbins in the passenger's footwell will be running particularly hot. And will have melted the plastic around it, frigging up the blower. On spotting this, you'll clean it out, and it'll work for approximately another 24 hours. And then you'll repeat the process.

If this sounds remotely familiar, I know that Dom at TVR Power knows what the underlying issue is, and how to fix it (not sure of the scale of the fix, though)

I had a similar problem with the fan cutting
in and out at will.When I wiggled the huge multi
plug on the module the fan was going on and off
due to a loose connection.As a solution I rolled
some tiny balls of kitchen foil and inserted them
in the sockets of the connector so that when the
pins on the plug push home there is a nice snug fit
with a good electrical contact.Been fine for nearly
a year now, I think FOIL BALLS should be standard
factory equipment
