Replacement radio
Discussion
For those looking to replace their radio I came across this while searching http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/121/61/MVH-X... and after a little digging managed to order one on-line as the normal suppliers apparently wont stock them for a month or so.
It doesn't have a cd player but can play any media, has bluetooth connectivity and most importantly for those who have struggled to get a standard radio to fit the Tuscan pod is only 97mm deep.
Only arrived yesterday so not fitted yet but looks a decent bit of kit.

I have always loved alpine head units and a couple of times have tried other brands but never really been happy...
Alpine have brought a budget range out and I got one of these...unbelievably cheap and good value.
No CD drive but the next model up does if required.
Fm radio, USB slot on the front, Bluetooth for music and also hands free! Comes with an external mic which I fitted next to the steering column. Its surprisingly good and I use it a lot and people can always hear me...I never have the roof on either!
So good I bought one for the wedge...and a mate of mine bought two and fitted to his Alfa and Ferrari!

Finally got round to fitting and really happy with the unit. So neat and even with changes to the wiring loom only took 45 mins as opposed the estimated 2 hours quoted by the (TVR experienced) shop. Connection by blue tooth is excellent and easy for playing music off the phone, and with the hands free mic stuck to the shelf between radio and wheel voice calls were fine up to 70 with side windows down and back window out. Only point to make is that if you want to listen to radio then it would be better to go for a DAB set with a sticky aerial on the windscreen. I don't and the only station I really want I can stream through the phone anyway
