Boot won't open - Urgent help needed

Can anyone help me to get the boot unlocked. I press the button and it makes the electronic sound but it doesn't pop open. What can I do?

Try pressing the boot lid down at the same time as pushing the button.
I have had something similar when I have put too much in the boot.
What I had was it all sounded normal but it did not open.

I've tried that but it didn't make any difference. The boot isn't even half full

Looks like you'll need to lie on your back with the "secret entry" method

Ah ha, it opened. Left it for a few hours to cool down (I had been on the road for 7hrs) and it opened first time. I was just about to crawl underneath. Thanks for all the help.

I had this problem once, used the secret way to get it open, spent 3 hours checking all wiring to no luck. Then locked and unlocked the car again opened the drivers door and then the boot switch worked again. Turned out if you press the lock button inside the car it locks the boot too. Funny that!
