Does any know if the MkII Convertible is still a reality? If it is do what's the streetdate?l I had my heart set on a Tamora, but the MkII has slowly grown on me and now it's making the Tamora look slightly sedated...

Afaik, same spec as Tuscan Targa, but 2000 GBP more expensive.

Tuscan Convertible will come as Tuscan 3.6 and Tuscan S.

For more infos call the factory.

Hope that helps.

I have just ordered a new mk 2 targa version, and have been told by two dealers now, that there are still developement problems with the roof, and not to expect anything this year relistically.

Does this mean they're trying a different roof configuration to the existing targe/softback?

I think that the problem was with the fixing on the top of the hoops, with the knurled nut, or what ever it was, and they carn't use the traditional syatem as on griff/chim/tamora, as it wouldn't allow the hoops to remain, and these are obviously a nice stylish touch.
All the dealer said was that it was undergoing further developement before being put into production, and it is likely to be end of year before being ready to go into production.
This is a refreshing change then, rather than sending them out and then worrying about the problem under warrenty
