Start the engine after leaving the headlights on in a car park for 5h.

well perhaps that is not too unexpected but it turns out neither can the RAC

couldn’t find the battery,
Tech department said there is a socket couldn’t find this either.
When eventually tracked it down they don’t carry the matching plug.
Several attempts to bodge a connection all fail
Tech department suggest direct connection to battery
Tries to jack up car to get front wheel off but the jack they carry won’t fit under the car so have to improvise pushing the car onto a wooden block to give the jack clearance.
Eventually with a direct connection to the battery the car still won’t start, although at least we get the doors open now the electrics work.
Several calls later turns out the immobiliser needs re-setting.
Car eventually starts after reset.

Took 1.5h from arrival RAC to car starting. Lots giggles from passers by as you may imagine with RAC truck attending a TVR “has it broken down yet”

It's worth noting the type and size of battery incase you need to replace it, when mine ran flat in similar circumstances it was never the same again and needed to be replaced inside 2 months.
