Window Problem
Discussion
A microswitch in the door lock in the B pillar senses when the door has closed and tells the window to wind up. A quick spray of the old WD40 into the latch might fix it for you.
You can remove the chrome lock cover plate on the B pillar by undoing the 3 (?) small screws and get to the microswitch to replace it, but if yours is like mine then the cross head in the screws are stripped out making this quite a job.
If not then I guess that there's a wire broken or a fault in an ECU somewhere. Try the WD40 fix first.

if it is the micro switch would it not effect alarming?
had issues with mine and it would alarm as it thought the door was always open. I removed the chrome plate and bent the micro switch back to were it should have been job done. Worth trying but im not sure it will fix the problem.
