Flat battery and cant get in

Somehow the inside light was left on and flattened the battery. Connected a charger, but now the plipper wont unlock the car! Any ideas?

thanks Clive, My next prob though is even if I get in, the car is immobilised, it wont respond to the plipper. Somethng needs resetting I guess.

You can use your immobiliser fob key to enable ignition. Read the owner's manual but there is a immobiliser key point between the speedo pod and the stereo pod on the dash, it has a flashing light.
