How long do your tyres last?

I have had my Tuscan S from new in October '02 and done just under 10000 miles.

The Toyo tyres are still fine. As in, are still legal, but not sure how much tread is left though.

Was just wondering how many miles people generally get out of a set of tyres? I know the backs will wear out much sooner than the front.

NB. Haven't done any track days, so in my case, just road use.

My first set SO2's on 16" rims were in need of replacement by 10K miles, the second set Toyo T1's on 18" rims are still OK after 12K miles although the inside edges of the front's are a bit worn.

I got 11k out of my rears on the Toyos and the front still look perfectly ok to me after 13.5k although my dealer reckons I need to change them. (He's taking it in p/x next month )
