Good morning all, just a heads up if anyone is looking at the cheap TVR Tuscan for sale on eBay on a 24 hour auction with no reserve. This car came up for sale on Autotrader in August and advert stated 40k miles, whilst 3 months later it is on 'approx. 32k miles' after a speedo change in 2008. Is it that easy to manipulate the mileage on the Tuscans dash?

A 24 hour auction always seems a bit iffy to me. No one has a chance to view the car, though this one does look pretty good from the photo's.

Reg plate is Y737BKS. The advert in August stated that it needed a service, and MoT , and was missing a roof!? Car now has a roof and a fresh MoT and advert states that it has had a speedo change at 15k and done 18k since = 33k miles, yet advert in August stated 40k miles....

Whatever it eventually sells for, with the mileage discrepancy there will be an engine rebuild on the cards..

The car looks nice but I've just done my usual checking of the seller feedback and apparently this guy has sold 2 cars previously that he didn't disclose were actually Cat C!

Although it says HPI clear If the highest bidder is on here id say best to call him and double check before the auction ends in 10 mins.
