Handbrake jammed

Hi All

The damned handbrake button on purple ronnie has jammed - I've now no handbrake. Is it "gentle" tapping with the ol' "rubber headed birmingham screwdriver" or does anyone know of a sneaky way to un jam it !!!

take off the handbrake gaiter by pulling it back, this will expose two allen bolts on the aluninium grip ,loosen these and slide off the grip.The button should now be exposed, the button can be unscrewed but be careful as you do it so the spring does not shoot out , once this is undone grease the button and housing and before refitting the spring stretch it slightly to increase the pressure.
Refit is the reverse this should cure the problem.
