There was a metal angle bar screwed to the front underside of my 2001 Tuscan 4.0, a bit like a deflector of some kind. It fell off just after a service and I was told it is not a tuscan part but perhaps off a griff. Does anyone know what it was for and should I throw it away as was suggested to me.

They were originally fitted to Griffiths & Chimaeras to help cooling. Some Tuscans were fitted with them to help with stability under high speed breaking. I still have one on mine & it does make a difference.

Standard fitment on Cerberas....until they fall off over a speed bump or whatever. Perhaps they make some discernable difference at 150MPH or so, but no obvious difference on the road or track days without.
