Do you mean the connecting bar rather than the wiper arm itself. If so firstly make sure all the clips to the lower part of the air box are locked down and secured. I use split pins or fine gauge cable ties. Remember there is a clip which you can't see located between the air box and the block.
If the answer is yes, then take the top of the air box off and remove the filter and look at the points where the lower air box is attached to the block. There is an adjuster at the front of the box, and you may also find the 2 supports at the side are also adjustable. If so loose off all three points, adjust the 2 side ones down a few mm and tighten. Then adjust and tighten the front adjuster. Re assemble and see if the bar now clears.
