Hello all, has anyone had any good or bad experiences dealing with Offord (www.offord.com)? My tuscan 3.6 is due a 24k service and I'm tempted to take them up on their offer of £500 inc parts and vat. I've had it serviced with castle TVR and although no real complaints, they are quite expensive.

I do not want to scrimp on the cost of servicing a wonderful supercar but are main dealers holding a monopoly over paranoid owners like myself or are the Indy's actually providing the same high service but with lower overheads?

Its a difficult one and I've tried searching the threads but there isn't too much detail on Offord. The company has tried to reassure me that they have
been servicing all ages of Tuscans since 1999 but I once knew a painter and decorator who'd be doing it 30 years and he was still rubbish..

Any info would be really helpful.

Many thanks. Theo.

I've only ever heard good things about them. They offer a pick up/drop back service as well.

Now that my local dealer and now no longer tvr franchised, I might consider giving them a try for the next service myself.

No experience of their speed six servicing I'm afraid but I used them in Jan for a 12k service on my Chim and have to say they were very good, contacting me before any extra work was carried out, talking me through the costs and reasons for this. They were very thorough, offer a courtesy car (even if it is a bit of an old clunker Saab 9000) and are very friendly/knowledgable. There were also a couple of other Tuscans in for service at the same time mine was there so I guess this has to be a good sign.

I too am thinking of giving Offord a go for my next service. The price apparently includes tappet adjustment. I wouldn't complain about a Saab courtesy car though. Apparently, some dealers have been known to give you a Skoda.

Also worth considering Leven in Basildon. My Chimaera is currently in for it's 12k service and I'm happy with the service I've received and the work that has been done on the car… Dan certainly seems to know his stuff. Given he's ex-CDL and ex-Synergy (Le Mans squad) he's fettled more than a few Sp6 cars

Given the shItty weather, quite happy to be pootling around in the diesel VW Polo courtesy car…

Edited due to speeeeeeling.

Had my Tamora serviced by them. Nothing but praise for them and the work.
