exhaust stubs

Has anybody found a permanant cure for the rear exhaust stubs (where the can bolts on to) where the weld keeps breaking due to vibration and the weight of the can? I keep having mine welded but I'm going to have to find a better way.Just wondered if anybody has already found a cure.

Alan,
Had the same problem with mine, and had toyed with the idea of welding a triangular shaped gusset, on the underside of the pipe and onto the silencer, to support it.
Worth a try?

just welded them up again, strange the crack always seems to be at the bottom and only on 1 side (nearside)

Thought about the "gusset" idea, but not alot of room to play with once the can goes on. it's crap stainless as well.
