Hi guys.

I'm looking at getting my Chameleon Tuscan a full coat of paint. Could anyone recommend a good body shop to do the job? Preferably someone who's done a flip paint job on a Tuscan before? I'm in West Kent but would be willing to go anywhere in the south for someone decent.

Hi,

I've just had mine fully resprayed by Milfield Automotive near Horsham and I am really very happy with the result.

Mine isn't chameleon however it's crystal topaz which is a pretty awkward colour to get right.

Her is my car

I have no connection to them other than being a happy customer!

Hi Matt. Looks like a lovely job. How long did they have the car for? And if you don't mind me asking what was the cost? Pm me if that's better? Rich.

I had somebody run into me on my Reflex Tuscan late last year. I took it to my insurer's approved place (Fix Auto West Hampstead) to get a competitive quote for the repair, but I wasn't sure about letting them do the work.

Then a week later a bus ran the whole way along the nearside of the car while it was parked. I asked for a couple of other quotes from TVR focussed bodyshops, but both suggested localised repairs for each piece of damage. Fix Auto offered to do what amounted to a full respray.

That made my decision and I'm glad it did - They did a fantastic job. Looks really, really beautiful.

Their take on the Flip/Reflex/Cascade paint is that it is actually EASIER to match than standard paints when doing individual panel repairs... completely contrary to what the PH buyers guide and other sources of wisdom say.
