Heater is not working!

Hi

My heater would not to work this morning, just blowing cold air. I checked the water level and that's ok.

Has anyone got ideas what I should look at next?

sometimes mine does this, all i do is wiggle the heater knob back and forth , then it seems to work.

Could be the stepper motor? mine blows cold but when you turned the heat up you heard a 'clunk' ... later found out the stepper motor gearbox had sheared three teeth off the final gear thus slipping when turned

Thanks guys. I finally cracked this morning (in the snow) and went to my dealer who has ordered a new motor for the flap control or something.

I too used to get a clunk or more a clack but I guess that's whay happeneds with a 4 year only car.

I'll just have to freeze for then time being.
