Apart from the obvious front splitter and rear spoiler, plus the 3,6->4,0l engine, are there any real differences in the suspension, steering, or anything else ? I mean, not a matter of adjustments, but a real difference in components.

The thing is I don't see where the £10k go...

I think the differences are brakes (bigger front and back), aerodynamics and engine (not only bigger but also tuned to release another 50hp).

It also comes with air conditioning, gas discharge headlights and a DAB radio as standard.

It once had a better warranty package too (2yrs all round) but that's been superseded by the 3yr deal all cars.

Some sites mention a handling pack, which is would guess is different dampers.

The S is also the quickest Tuscan you can buy so I'm sure some of that will be for bragging rights too (until the Sagaris lot show up!)

Wheel sizes are different - S has same all around, standard has smaller rubber on the front. S also comes with hydratrak now as standard.

AND you get a colour coded steering wheel. Well worth the £10k much more than the colour coded boot carpet imo.

Cheers,

Andy.

I was under the impression that all TVR's now came with Hydratrak (the t350 and the Tamora certainly do!)

From early this year hydratrak standard on S. Other models I don't know. Apparently the handling is sorted now so the hydratrak isn't a snappy b**st*rd.

Thanks for all your answers.
What I wanted to know was if there weren't internal mechanical differences, so that if I buy a normal tusc, I'll have the possibility to add later (put aside the engine, but 350-360bhp are enough for me ) the different parts to match the S specifications, if I need to improve the handling.
