STOP PRESS - Lady Di's old Tuscan finds a new home
Discussion
Well, against all the advice of you Pistonheads people, I bought the first Tuscan I looked at
Strange because I did heed your advice nearly 3 years ago and spent more than 6 months researching, testing, negotiating until I found my perfect 99V Chim.
The Chim owning experience has been a superb adventure including memorable drives through the vinyards of France, temperatures up to 35C, top off, aircon on bare feet, staying in wonderful Chateaux.
Despite a few negative nellies on the PH site, I have decided to take the Tuscan experience and hope to repeat the superb fun of the Chim. Yes, they are quite different machines and both respond badly to very heavy right feet.
Thanks to Dream Machines for their patience (never pushy) and to Lady Di
for her answers to my never-ending questions. I did look at a few Tuscans after seeing the Crystal Topaz machine but none of them lived up to first one.
Please God - let the snow stay away as I will be picking up the batmobile next Saturday

[/quote] Er Ladyship has just contacted me to say that on her return she will be rushing a Bill through the "House"
to bring back hanging.
In your case Nick, by the scrotum
Hope you enjoy the car as much as we did Brent and we see you at the R&C soon.

Come on Pies - spill the beans (geddit - pies and beans)
I haven't parted with the cash yet and I am all!!
You are going to tell me she is dyslexic and mistakes 60 degrees on the oil temp guage for 6 degrees before she buries her right foot!![]()
Take no notice of Pies, Brent, he is known to certifiably insane. Nowt wrong with my beautiful old motor. I even put lovely clean cooking oil in the engine rather than that nasty brown stuff they give you. I found right foot flat to the floor the quickest way to warm up the engine.
You know I am kidding, that car got far better treatment than my hubby. Check with Keith at Waldonway service as he knows the car inside out.
Have fun and enjoy
Di
