what do you guys do with your lights when you go over the channel ?

With the seperate dipped / focusing-full-beam units, etc I wouldn't have thought there is much you can do to alter the lights for driving on the wrong side of the road ?? what's the deal ?

Not a lot you can do with the standard light's although I have never had any problems. I belive if you have gas discharged dip beamed lights you can have these changed over, although thats bonnet & inner panel off to get to them.

I picked this up around a year ago, and can't remember the source. It was either here or yahoo. You will need to remove the bonnet and the access panels to get to the back of the lights. Screw A supposedly has 2 possible positions set 15 degrees apart.

I haven't done this, so you're on your own - at least you're on your own with more info !

From what I recall when I looked in to this (when I lived in Holland) screw A does indeed have 2 positions, but screws B and C need to be removed to allow the movement - hence I left my lights alone and never had a problem

You can always claim the black stickers must have fallen off

Unless you're planning on doing a lot of night driving, I'd just leave them be. Even if you ARE doing night driving, I'd consider risking it. It's not like Tuscan lights are ultra-bright, etc.

Stu, we've taken ours to France many times, been stopped by the French police a few times (curiosity thing!) and they have never asked/looked at the lights but they do seem to have an appreciation of paper work! Given the hassle needed to convert them, if you're concerned you could just stick a few bits of tape on each light.

My experience is that the lights will be fine as they are. I've been using mine for 9 months in Spain without adjustment and without any police interest (well, in the lights anyway).

I drive on the continent quite a lot and only ever stick a bit of black masking tape over the correct bit of the lens.
Been doing it for years and no problems whatsoever.
