Chassis clean up

So engine is out and I want to make good the area by the cats where the paint was gone and it was rusty.
I have cleaned back to near clean metal and want to know what people painted it with. I will make a heat shield to protect the area before the furnace is returned to its bay.

Something like E tech should be ok, I've painted my engine with it (cast iron) and it is standing up to the heat even around the exhaust ports on the cylinder heads.

Downside is a rather limited choice of colours, my engine is not (and never was!) white .
