Hi
Can anyone help / advise / have instructions or know how to remove the Heater fan on a MK2 Tuscan (Wavy dash - not sure it's any different)?
Thank you
Paul

Paul, on the Mk.1 the heater fan is located in the void between inner and outer N/S wings. I can't believe the Mk.2 is significantly different
Access to electrical connection is via battery compartment - and then remove cover on outboard side of battery comp't.

To physically remove blower/motor ass'y you need to remove main bonnet, then wiper arms and scuttle, then remove both 'humps'(containing heater and a/c radiators) on N/S of engine bay with the hoses attached....This can be tricky if RTV has been used to seal.

Underneath the humps you'll see an alloy plate...this need removing to expose the blower.

Probably some pictures in here:

Paul,

A more detailed response in an earlier thread on PH here:
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=121...

Please note my comments on the blower itself being a bit prone to water ingress via the grill - therefore before removing heater and a/c matrices in 'humps', put 12V directly to blower motor connections found behind GRP cover in battery compartment. Twice, my blower has 'come alive' after a liberal spray with electrical restorative into the area where the electrical connections are (inner/outer wing void). The water issue is I guess, due to the poor state of our roads now leading to puddles at verges.
