Just about to go from my ST220 Mondeo, which is comfy, reliable, more than quick enough for most situations, sensible, etc, etc, to a noisy, thirsty, socially irresponsible Tuscan.
Picking it up tomorrow. Keep thinking "What AM I doing???".
But with the sun coming out, and the memory of the test drive, I've not had butterflies this bad since the first date with my missus!!

Not yet you haven't, mate. Lets wait until that money's in my account, eh?

Oh, by the way, I had a bit of an accident on the way in this morning - not used to driving it after being away for over a week. It shouldn't take the garage more than a couple of weeks to sort out the panels & wheel; it looks far worse than it is.

Tis running like a dream, especially now the temperature's picked up. Will give the old girl a farewell wash for you tonight and see you tomorrow.

There were a lot of s when he first sat behind the wheel and took it for a quick spin. Imagine he'll be pretty much have made it down the M1 & round the M25 by now... hopefully there'll be plenty more s to post about later on.

I have just been through the same thing, this was my car for the last 7 years www.theory7.com/bmw and I just bought a 2001 tuscan, had butterflies and a million thoughts thinking this is such a bad idea and the live life to the fullist side of me saying this is a great idea! I think the two sides of me are still battling it out somewhere in the back of my head!!

Was interesting after driving the tuscan for a week I wanted to pop into town and took my beemer, first thing I thought was my seat had been raised up!! then when going round the first bend I overshot realising I needed to turn the wheel several more rotations in order to go round a bend!!! and not to mention that all the controls fealt like they where made out of feathers! I love the tuscan but its like (i imagine) having a new boen baby, feels like a real responsibility to own it! is all good though

I know exactly what you mean. The ST feels like driving a bed!
Thing is, after the Tiv, it feels like I'm not 'driving' it. Feels like a video game.

Congrats on the purchase. You did the right thing

Had mine just over a month now and the grin keeps getting bigger and bigger as you realise just what you've bought and start touching on what it can REALLY do!
