Have been back in Iraq now for 4 weeks and already miss the car like mad, however am just coping with large doses of pics etc. BUT, wait for it, have converted the little brother from buying a bloody evo jap 6 to a TVR!!! in the 2 weeks I was home in feb. Then, shock and horror, he has only gone out and bought a 4.2 Cerbera!!!.This has resulted in the little b(*&^r declaring a "MINE IS FASTER THAN YOURS!!" comment, the cheeky sod. Is he correct or is it even money? iain.
can't wait until april when i get to take her out again with no salt on the roads.

Yours probably has more power, as it is.
However, don't tell him about Pistonheads, Joolz, Austec or remapping and you'll be fine...
Peak BHP, you'll have more. Weight-wise, you're ahead (by a bit) too.
However, the AJP has higher torque lower down in the power-band, so I'd say that a "normal" AJP Cerb will be a little faster in a straight line than a "normal" Tuscan (assuming there is such a thing as "normal")
My Tusc (which was "a bit special" - it was a particularly fast one BEFORE all the work) was a dead-heat with a 4.5 Cerb from 0 to 1.6 speed units.
If your bro gets his re-mapped, then you're definitely gonna lose.
Having said that:
* The ladies love a Tuscan more
* Your car's been in a good couple of Hollywood blockbusters
* You can take the roof off
* As a last resort, you could get yours Red Rosed, etc...

I also agree with the idea that ladies prefer a tuscan lol, drove through bristol towncentre and had girls taking pics with their phones as i went past haha. Mines the 4ltr speed 6 and i'm ordering the carbon cans today!!! it's already been sleeved but I think the ccc's sound better. Must admit the garage does look good now though with a cerb and tuscan side by side. Think the neighbours will be getting alot of sleepless nights lol.
