Does anyone go to the trouble of protecting their boot lids from losing sheen through repeated handling? Let's face it, every time you shut the lid you have to palm the same area and after a while, even with clean mitts, that lustre is going to disappear.

Common scenario: fill up with gas, handle grubby petrol pump, shut boot... Urghhh.

(Don't worry, I'm not losing sleep over this; I'm just curious to see whether others have considered it.)

And dont forget the bit where you shut the door, and the opening button, and the seats, and the accelerator pedal and brake pedal and ignition key.....

Or you could just drive it, enjoy it and stop worrying about how shiney it is

erm yes.

I keep a maguires detailer spray in the cockpit...that and a microfibre cloth takes those fingerprints away from doors, roof, boot, etc whenever they appear.

I like to drive it. But I like it to look good too..
