MK2 Front number plate

Can anyone let me know how the front number plate is mounted on a MK2 front end ?

Any chance you could take a picture? Just so i can see if it is the same as the MK1 ?

I'm just fitting a Mk2 grille and number plate holder to my Mk1 and it is simply secured over the front of the main bonnet. I bonded it with glue then filled around the edges as I'm in the middle of a repaint. Alternatively you could colour code it to your car and glue it, pop rivet it or even use double sided tape. The photo is from one of the current suppliers of the MK2 grille kit.
