Throttle briefly didn't respond -battery light+oil light ??
Discussion
Hi guys - was driving back from the cotswolds today and while cruising along the throttle suddenly didn't respond at all to the pedal being pressed - no engine rev literally nothing happened - for like 4seconds - the oil light and battery light briefly lit up then suddenly the throttle started working again and everything was fine (the engine didn't stop at any point). At first I thought the throttle cable had snapped as nothing sounded wrong about the engine it just wasn't responding to the throttle as I went along.
I had recently stopped a few minutes before this to fill the tank up to near full (22L -> 52L), in case that is relevant.
Drove the remaining 100miles without the tiniest hint of a problem after that.
Anyone know if this is something to worry about / indicative of a particular fault?
Many thanks for any advice!
Cheers,
Darren

My first thoughts would be to check the 100A fuse adjacent to starter motor and the 80A fuse behind pass. side front footwell carpet.
...Just occurred! Maybe check earths at battery/pass side footwell and on OS engine mount?
