So far (four weeks of Tuscan ownership) I've needed the toolkit for two jobs.

Job 1 required a philips screwdriver
Job 2 required a philips screwdriver and an allen key

The screwdriver fitted none of the screws.
None of the three allen keys fitted the bolts.

I am in the process of supplementing the provided tools with a set of my own. Doubt I'm on my own here.

Strange - after nearly three weeks, the only tool I've needed is the one to get the silly grin off my face!

Hasn't worked though. Even the missus and her "...you're not going out in it AGAIN!!!" jibes haven't done any good.
Maybe the noise has damaged my ears?!

I was kind of, just a little, a teensy bit subconsciously hoping that it wouldn't run quite this well for you... makes me wonder even more why I sold it now!!

The other 99.9% of me is very, very glad it's treating you well... would have been REALLY upset if you thought I'd sold you a lemon!

Yes WHAT TOOL KIT, I always here this mentioned, but as far as im aware, I got a valleting kit and some radio keys, but no tool kit. I keep a few bits in the car including a small socket to get the bonnet off.

Oh No! No lemons here!!!
Just a devil!

Did think it a bit strange that the day I first came to see it, the Pope fell ill. Every time I've taken it out, he's got worse.

Now he's brown-bread!

Ever seen 'The Omen'?

Not in my experience. The one time I needed the RAC the fella didn't want to go near it. Called a specialist truck to tow me away.

I've never been a member of the RAC, however, I've called on the AA more than a few times when I had my Tuscan and never had any problems and will continue to use them with my Tamora.

I'm an AA member but there is a year's cover from the RAC via TVR I've just been informed. Did the AA know about jump-starting the car you had ? I'm about to go away for a couple of weeks and worry on return that I may have a battery prob and the AA/RAC wont have a clue how to start the car and without the knowledge myself I may be stranded in a hotel car-park in Birmingham !!! Makes me shiver just thinking about it !!!

Jump start/charge point should be under the near-side of the car, just behind the front wheel... two metal prongs recessed into a rectangular(ish) cut-out about 4" or so long. Assuming it's the same as a Mk I. Without the proper jump leads it could be tricky getting something to attach there...
