I need 2 new back tyres (again!) and I'm struggling to find some Toyo Proxes. Does anyone recommend anything else or is it best that I stick with the Toyos and keep searching?

Thanks

Eve

I have had bridgestones and now have toyo's, much prefer the toyo's. Try blackcircles.com.

I went from Bridgestones to Goodyear F1s and really like the F1s.

Bridgestone S03s: pish. Steer clear.
Proxes: good choice (great alround tyres, but there are others with better dry weather grip)
Goodyear Eagle F1s: good choice (but possibly a bit better suited to the front of the car - wouldn't worry about it unless you're a really enthusiastic driver, though)
Falken FK451: never tried them, but know lots of people that swear by them, and they're particularly cheap.
Pirelli P-zeros: Great in the dry, loved them on the rear of the Elise, really like them on the XKR, but would be a bit wary on a Tiv in the wet.

Eve - just got a set of Toyos for my Jag from Elite Direct and no problems with supply but then those were in Jag sizes ... website is www.elitedirect.com and they have a telephone mail order service. Mine arrived next day.

Cheers

Hi Laurie!

Surely you're on the wrong side of the tracks over here! Sorry I've not replied to your e-mail yet... slight issues with it at the moment, but I'll fix it.

Dom at Power was selling 245/40zr 18`s (Toyos) cheap a few weeks back try calling him or ask for stores/parts
They even sent them to my dealer to fit
