Motorail mayhem?
Discussion
Has anyone out there taken a Mk1 Tuscan S on the French motorail successfully? or any Tuscan for that matter.
I notice the minimum ground clearance required by our little green amphibious friends to travel, is 10cm; which is what is quoted in the stats in our handbooks, so theoretically should be ok.
Knowing how long the overhangs are, and the presence of the splitter, I suspect there could be crunching noises.
Any previous experience would be greatly appreciated as I want to take it ,and the wife, to stay with friends in the Dordogne (and drive those fab mountain roads) but dont want the boredom of the motorways or to clock up the miles.
Cheers all
James.
