my aircon seems to have failed, no cold air and you dont get that click/drop engine revs when it is switched on.

Would like to check a couple obvious things like the fuse BUT I HAVN'T GOT A HANDBOOK YET.....

any suggestions/advice please b4 I send it back to the dealer

cant find a on/off but the heater diaplay menu reads

water 88
hot air 70
cold air 32
ambient 18
fan 100%
flap 0%
CL - OFF PR - OFF IC - ON WV - ON

top half I can work out

what are CL,PR,IC,WV?

I wondered about that, and am not convinced my AC is working. Engine speed doesn't drop, and air at its coolest doesn't seem particularly cold.

After a couple of day's sat in the garage, the readings on my car are:

Water 16
Hot air 16
Cold air 16
Ambient 15
Fan 0%
Flap 2%
CL Off PR On IC On Wv On

Obviously first nos. are current temperatures.

try the fuse, if its blown there's no power getting to the clutch on the pump when you try and turn it on or you can test by jumping a live onto the single wire on the pump, this should make the clutch engage

Try looking under the factory menu - the AC on/off is under there.

Cheers,

Andy.

I've been experimenting.

"Fan" shows fan-speed, and "flap" shows heater setiing. "CL" is on when the AC is switched-on. "Cold air" shows the temperature of the cooled air. My AC is working, as you can see the cold air temperature falling when it's switched-on. It just takes a while.

If your dealer cant help, have you tried emailing the factory?
I agree this handbook situation is getting ludicrous.
On my old Tusc the fuses were different to what the handbook said anyway. I had loads of fun, not, when my indicators packed up. The fuse was entirely diff to the one suggested.
