Hi all

Sorry for asking, what I can only describe as a well covered topic but....

I really want my tuscan to sound a little throatier/deeper and never really that keen on the look of the standard cans. The exhaust sounds fine when revved hard but at idle and general trudging around in traffic sounds a little weak (or is it that I just cant hear it properly in the cabin?)

So other than CCC's which everyone mentions (and appear look the same as the standard ones) could I have fitted a custom made pair of cans if one actually exists, or am I gonna bugger up my engine??

Oh, and one other daft question......where the hell does the ashtray deposit its contents, cos so far lost numerous coins, chewing gum and a selection of other small items!!

Cheers

Boris

Hi There

The rotating little container in the front will actually lift out of the console. The botton half (with all your coins etc in) can then be unscrewed from the top half.

Hope this helps

The CCC ones are the same shape, but come in different finishes... alloy, colours, etc.

mine are blue for example:

Hurrah!

Thanks ccooke......at last I have access to my lost money, gum and a few items I will keep to myself

Cheers for the message on the exhausts too, but still not convinced with the look of the standard or ccc's, such a big exhaust yet little hole at the end....seems strange

Still, anymore advice would be welcomed....not that I am looking for a 'max power' exhaust but just something that looks aggressive and sounds the business

CCC cans look great when on the car and sound fantastic! I wasn't sure just how good they would be but took the plunge......superb! (ps see "Rorty Tuscan" on Pistonheads TV)

I agree about the look of the cans. They don't fit with the back of the car in my opinion. I'm looking at either getting some straight stainless pipes or very slim cans made for mine but not sure of cost yet.

Cheers

Still not convinced by the looks of the CC's but the shark nose are a little more like what I am looking for, cheers col

If you have any made up BB, I would be interested in seeing a pic of what you go for.

But it seems to me that I could have one made up, just to achieve a better look (for me anyway) and hopefully improve the sound too!!
