What’s your understanding of the Warranty on a MK 1 Tuscan S? When I bought the car a year ago I was told the S came with a 2 year total car warranty rather that the 1 year car/ 2 year engine warranty on the standard car. My dealer has confirmed this since. I was having a test drive with another large well known dealer at the weekend who told me he understood it was a 1 year car/2 year drive train, the same as the standard car. Now I’m confused, someone is wrong but whom? I suspect my dealer is correct but there was 3 Tuscan s's in their show room so would they make a mistake like that? Dealers are meant to be the experts! Any clues?

As I thought! Well its a bit worrying as its a very well know dealer (no names mentioned, I promise Ted!) and as I said had several Tuscan S's in stock, argued the point with me too! Oh well. When I sold cars for a huge main dealer, product knowledge was everything. Chap that took me out was only part time so he can be excused but when discussing the warranty, I got the impression I was talking to the boss!
