If anyone is daft enough to still have standard cans on their Tuscan check out this link to buy some new Carbon Cans for £220. I did this several weeks ago & haven't stopped smiling since

Presumably that's Simon from the CCC selling them on Ebay at £50 below the normal price.

Why?

It is Simon he puts them on all the time to generate extra interest thats why I bought mine off there & saved some money. He only ever puts the stainless steel ones on though (which i think are best anyway as suit all colour cars)

Hehe, get these AT ONCE for your tuscan lolol.

I was wondering what all the fuss was about, with everyone ranting about them on here but I had them put on a week ago and wow, incredible...

Basically if you dont mind the loudness (very loud indeed!) they are incredible. More base at idle, and the high rpm rasp will make you cream your pants (or panties ).

And as for tunnels...LOL

+ the stainless steel looks great, better than stock imo!

Not sure if they would fit but if you e-mail Simon using ask buyer a question he will reply to let you know. (Top bloke really helpful)

I have a MK2S with carbon cans as new. unfortunately the care sounds a bit lame but looks good. My old MK1 has sleeved cans and that popped and crackled on down shift. question the cans on eBay what's the sound like is it way over the top or a good rasp and pop as you change down. The SS cans look better than the carbon I think anyway.

Hey all

Just bought a pair off ebay from Simon and had them fitted today................WOW!!!

I posted a thread a while ago about finding something different to the CCC's but was convinced by you guys to try them and all I can say is THANKS!

They sound awesome! Loud when they need be, pop and crackle on the downshift and the stainless steel actually do look so much better than the standard ones.

As everyone has said in the past, but I am now agreeing, I think everyone should get some

Money well spent!!

mummm this is food for thought indeed - just brought new Tuscan today and has standard exhaust - Cerbera which we have just sold has sports exhaust and sounded wicked. May have to check this out.

Dave

Did your dealer fit the CCC cans for you?

I know I've posted this before but I had planned to put CCC cans on my Mk 1 Tuscan and would like them on my Mk2 but I was told that my engine warranty would be invalid if I did due to increased back pressure from the CCC cans. I know that Simon says that back pressure is not increased but, given TVR's propensity to wriggle out of things I felt it best not to give them the opportunity. If dealers are fitting them though...................

My cans were fitted by Gorners prior to me taking delivery as I thought the standard ones made the car sound like a washing machine!
Now though WOW!!! if you haven't done it already do it you will not be disapointed.

But as your car is 3 years old presumably it does not have a factory warranty?

Can anybody answer this question for me: my CCC cans are due to be delivered this week but I was wondering what happens to the paint work around the area of the Stainless cans, Carbons gives off NO heat but the Stainless will and I guess get extremely hot enough to blister the paint and possibly the fibreglass itself can anybody tell me are have they seen any signs of this and is it recommended to fit the adhesive silver insulation shield to the body work
Thanks

Had my CC's on the Tuscan for nearly two and a half years no problem at all with the paint work in that area.
