I am disproportionately excited.

biggrin

Whilst I think the tuscan looks awkward from certain angles, and possesses somewhat questionable handling characteristics (I hope the geo my new one will have as PDI will amend a little), after much consideration of what on earth to do/buy next, I just couldn't resist a return to the Tuscan!!!

I've contemplated some serious metal for my next toy. I've fleetingly considered 570s, gallardo etc.. I just found them boring to drive on the road, too competent, too sanitised. I was going to drive a f360, but then this popped up.... TVR is in my blood and this will be my third.

Despite buying this, In many ways, I actually still rate the cerbera as my fave TVR, seating position and engine are storming, but this time, when the chips came down, I needed a targa!

A tuscan in reflex paint is a starship from another planet, its just like nothing else out there. How can something nearly 20 years old look like it's come from 20 years in the future?

There is literally nothing better that I can think of this side of 100k for giggles, looks, and enjoyment. Bring on summer. Roof in the boot, stereo on, 'Ave it.

It's going to be a long 2 week wait for prep, I just hope I get it in time for the first hot days!!!

I'm really rather excited to get back into a proper sports car. The vantage will do nicely for shopping trips biggrin

Great choice, I loved my Tuscan and that looks like a cracker.
I drove my 4.5 Cerbera 2.5 hours for a service today, enjoyed every mile, there is nothing like them..

Knew that car wouldn’t last long! Admired it a few times. Good to see you back Stu.

Hi guys,

Yes, I just couldn't stay away.

I've been stuck in the pH loop of refreshing adverts everyday for the last n months, flitting between lots or marques, but when this came up, it was an insta-call really biggrin

Just got to be patient for the prep, which I'm struggling with. I'm not patient when it comes to toys. Even enjoying arranging insurance, makes it feel like a toy is on the way!!!!!!!

Congratulations.

I went to see this car before it was sold to STR8six..

Paint work looked great.. and the previous owner was a very good guy..

Was so tempted to buy her, but decided to hold out for a Cascade Copper/Indigo..

I'm just super stoked with it to be honest.

Will take a while to sort a few niggles and make a few improvements, but I can't tell you how awesome it is to be back in a proper bruiser of a car.

It
Is
Just
Epic

Best thing I've done in a long time. Zero regrets, only that I've been out of TVRs for too long. There is so much wrong with the Tuscan, brakes so far feel a little underpowered, rattles, squeeks & leaks galore (wet right leg this evening!) , interior needs quite a bit of TLC etc... , but these are all things that make the car. It's alive. You wake it gently, warm it up and drag it into life and you feel it evolve as it warms up, proper stuff.

The Night I got it

Morning coffee has a better view now.

I just can't wait to get out there more. Any excuse to run errands at the moment.

Thanks to Jason and chas @str8six for giving me a proper toy for summer. They set me up with a fast road geo too, boy is it pointy! Can't wait for the roads to warm up biggrin

They were, I think, working on this when I met them to see mine. A beautiful beast this one. There was also a customer cerbera on the ramps that was just beyond epic too. I must admit, I want a cerb now too. TVRs just Rock!!

Epic epic epic.
