Just collected my Tuscan from TVR Power after an unexpected trip to Blackpool six weeks ago with a blown head gasket.
Didn't want to say anything on here as it would only stir up the usual pointless arguments.
However, I would like to say a [big]HUGE[/big] thank you to Dom and Jamie at TVR Power who have been an enormous help it getting this sorted quickly and with little fuss. The car was only two months out of warranty when the engine blew and after some initial negotiation we came to an acceptable agreement on costs with the TVR and once the go-ahead was given the car was repaired and back with me in two weeks - so a big :thumbup: to the team at the factory for getting it sorted in time for Le Mans!
We had already decided to sell the car before this happens, and we still will be (so if anyone's interested in a 2003 Tuscan with a 12 month engine warranty give me a shout ;)) Planning to use the Le Mans trip to get the rebuilt engine run in, but if anyone wants it before then a 1000 mile service is already included.
