I've been having problems with my starter motor on and off for a bit now, where it would spin but not engage. It finally decided to stick permanently on Friday night so I took it out this morning to sort it. Once out of the car I could see the model number and guess which 3 letter car manufacturer's name was stamped on it?

Give me glue and velcro anyday. :)

Wasn't DAF Dutch and if so why wasn't it called TULIP?
