Rear window seal removal

Hi all

Anyone got any tips for removing the stick on window seal for the rear window? it's stuck to the vinyl trim as well as the body and trying to remove it is a nightmare, it's either pulling the trim off or where I can remove it, it's leaving loads of the seal stuck on that I can't remove. Halfway through the job now so need to complete it and put the new one on!
