Excellent! A new Tuscan coming to the area.

Makes a change from all these horrid yellow Cerbs!

Get the best you can afford mate, if you get a rebuilt one for that money, all should be well.

Buy it with your eyes open though and don't go thinking that nothing will go wrong!

I've had quite a few niggling faults on mine, but NOTHING to make me feel I made a mistake.

Good luck.

Hi G9eg...

£22000 is pretty much the bottom end of the Tuscan market, so you need to be very careful.

If you were hit with a couple of four figure bills in the first few months have you got the funds put aside for that? If not, you might want to consider a Griff / Chim instead.

And that doesn't necessarily include a rebuild...for example, I have been VERY lucky so far and have racked up 10,000 miles without a single problem or a single replacement part, other than standard servicing.

However, over the next few weeks / at the next service I will need:

2x shocks (so that will be a full set of Nitrons)
4x tyres
4x discs and pads (so they will be getting upgraded)
36k service
Tappets adjusting

On top of that, I could really do with 2 new wheels and a spot of respray here and there.

And that is before you start treating yourself with Sat Nav, carbon cans, decat pipes etc...

If you can handle that then as has been suggested, get searching the forums! If you think you are OK with the maintenance but won't need the "unnecessary" upgrades, then beware

Happy hunting!
