Fellow TVR fans, lend me your knowledge...

How will a Tuscan fair outside ungaraged, on a road maybe 100 yards from the beach?

It's that or an M3... I know what's probably the sensible call, but I don't like to be sensible. Just tell me it won't leak and turn into rust...

Merci

Mine leaks. Probably fixable.

Generally not ideal, but it wont melt !

I always understood it was driving it in the wet that caused the wet to get underneath the body behind the wheels that was worse than simply standing outside...

Sagaris is gone. And she stayed in a very breathy garage under blankets to keep her warm. That however is no longer an option, so the next beast has to brave living by the North Sea and salty air!

Salty sea air doesn't do any cars a favour! Any chips or cracks in the chassis powder coat and it'll do what salt does. And then there's all the alluminium to think about?

My Tamora seems to have faired a great deal better than my BMW Mini. Admittedly the Mini spends more time there. Seems particularly keen on destroying brake callipers as well as the sub frame.

I have now plumbed in a dehumidifier to the garage in which it is kept - less than 50m from the sea.
