I've "almost decided" on upgrading to the Blueflame Shark Nose cans to try to improve the sound a bit...

Its a few quid to spend without actually seeing/hearing the difference. Have any of you bought/seen/heard what a difference these actually make on the car?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Not speaking from experience, but just what i've been told, is that if you want the best sound, you'd be a numpty to buy any cans other than CCCs. Apparently they're the 'Mutts Nuts' for raspy noises, but i think the Blue Flame's look better. A bit of a catch 22 i'm afraid. I read on here once though, that by simply 'sleeving' the original cans is better (and much cheaper) than both the above for noise, so i'm gonna try this option first before i spend hundreds of £££'s. You can do this by having two tightly fitting metal pipes made up (make sure you get them made long enough), then knock them into your cans. By doing this, the gases will now bypass the mufflers and exit straight out the cans. The results, i've heard, are superb.

Seen and heard Blueflame on an S in action. IMHO they sound better than the 'raspy' CCCs - a deeper more thunderous note (how said am I?) - but they are seriously loud without the decibel killers. The noice may grate on you if you are doing a long drive - but the db killers 'should sort that out. They do look very nice though I am not so keen on the titanium coloured finish.

I had a BlueFlame exhaust fitted onto my Vitara when the normal one fell off.

The service was above and beyond what I could have expected and the quality of work was brilliant.

When it needed a slight alteration (which was caused by the local Suzuki dealers) BF told me to take my Vitara straight to them and they would rectify the problem FOC.

I am saving up to have a new exhaust fitted onto my Chim at some point and I will only go to BlueFlame.

IMO CCC look cheap and chavy, BF stuff looks quality and sound just as good.

Thanks all. I'm after more of a "thunderous" rather than "raspy" note so maybe the Blueflame is the way to go. I can't seem to find any website for the CCCs though - anyone know it?

And Vitaras aren't cheap and chavvy?

Anyway it depends on what colour you get your CCCs in. I had pure stainless steel and they matched the original shape.

You can see my old car on the CCC website! What a sound! Although I'd love to hear these Blueflames....

Saw some on an 'S' at Le Mans over the weekend and I have to say that they look and sound the nuts. My cans are sleeved and i'm happy with the sound although the supersport exhaust on the T350 and Tamora with us made mine sound like a goose fart.

De catt and shark nose whatsits for me now.

Could you post some contact details please.

Thanks.

BTW, piccies of yours would be good too!

Yes some piccies would be good - I've got an unknown aftermarket exhaust on mine I'd like to try and identify! (Will try and get some pics myself soon)

Cheers,
Mark

www.blueflameperformance.com is what you want. Photos to follow once delivered, fitted, and I've worked out how to add photos!

Well...after a week of trying to get the Blueflame Sharknoses delivered, I decided to cancel the order as I was getting nowwhere with them (disappointingly!). An email and 3 unreturned phonecalls did not install any faith for me.

Therefore, bought the CCCs on ebay (for a third of the price) and am well chuffed. Just fitted them and they are far better than I expected. Already had one complaint from next door ha ha!

Want to take it out now to see how it sounds on the move, but a huge thunderstorm has just hit. Magic!

Thunderstorms cleared. Been out for a spin - MY GOD!
What a difference, I feel like I've wasted the last few months
...should have got these ages ago...

Passed some old boy with his window down, think he might have had a small heart attack as I passed him - the noise is mental!!
