Still happy after 13 years
Discussion
I've had mine now since 2002 and can't believe it's now 18 years of ups and downs but most definately more ups... Used to use her to regularly drive from London to Newcastle on weekends and around central London to work (oh those hot traffic jam days!) then went unused for maybe 10 years but now back on the road and being gently massaged around..

I can't believe anyone could have owned a TVR for 18 years and not found the need/pleasure to be on PH until now.
Only downside of PH membership in my experience is it creates a need to spend money.

I've had mine since 2001, built to my spec. Over 160k miles, huge applications of wallet. It's been from Lands End to John O Groats, and all over Belgium and France only as far down as Paris. Fantastic fun.
160,000 miles - great.
Can I ask about rebuilds?
My year 2000 Mk1 had 2 at 35k and 70k. Unfortunately I wrote her off at around 90k.

My Mk 2 convertible is on 86k no rebuild.
Many trips to Germany, Spain, Portugal.

My Tuscan is coming up to 102,000 miles.
I've driven the last 72K miles. Been to a few of the national TVRCC events, Germany, Belgium, France and (touching wood), only had a recovery from the side of the road once (clutch slave popped its seals).
The car has had a rebuilt steering rack and engine rebuild to 4.3 at Str8Six. December 2019 it made 412.9 bhp at Surrey Rolling Road....about 8 years/50K miles after rebuild. I've had 2 clutches (complete) during my ownership...guess I'm not hard on them!
Yes, I'm always sorting out minor electrical issues - but with a clear road, sun out and the prospect of a beer and meal in a nice part of France, you can't get anything close. Drive 'em, they're cars, that's their raison s'etre.
