Hi, I am interested in a Tuscan S full convertible with 60k miles and wondered what the market value is - any opinions? Thanks in advance

Really depends on a number of factors, rebuild status, colour, condition, history, options and whether you are selling or buying wink

Mine has 70k, is a unique colour with every bill, if I wanted to sell people wanted to pay <£30k if I wanted to buy one then at the time they were £60k

The logic is £50k , less £10k for a rebuild (not needed), less £6k for a respray (not needed), less £4k for interior (not needed) , less chassis £3k (Not needed), less yadda yadda yadda I'll give you £25k

Needless to say it is still sat in my garage.

My non-S is at 84k miles now.

I was contacted by someone from the North American TVR Car Club last year who is looking and asking about mine.
He knows me as I used to be a member.
He was hoping to get one in the low £40k's.

Last time I looked, £45k was the lowest advertised and I know I wont let mine go for less than £40k if I decided to sell.

Look at the Convertible register …. you will see in 2010 ish cars were selling for less than £30k... same car in 2016 was £45,000 and now maybe £50,000.
In the last few months prices seem to be dropping a little, so now is a good time to buy , bad time to sell !!!
A few years ago , I advertised my 4.5 for £65k and my Sag for £80k … I sold the Sag for £78k.. so kept the Tuscan and pleased I did smile .

I wrote of my Mk1 Tuscan in 2009.
I looked at Tuscan convertible prices and saw them to be around £35 to £38k.
The Mk2 Targa's were around £24 to £30k.
Then my Wife found 2 convertibles both at £24k!!!!!!

It was about 2 weeks later when I realized that I should have bought both. silly

Op, I assume you were looking at the one at auction this week. You might want to google bespoke car hire
