Just got PS4S fitted all round (235/35/19 & 265/30/19).

Tyre shop recommended 30psi+ eek
Decided on 24 front/ 26 rear, based on a long (& mainly inconclusive) PH research. The car is 4.0 & Nitrons; no track use.

What pressures do you gents use with 19" wheels?

Seems a bit low tbh; 255/35r19s PS4Ss on my S5 run at between 34 to 42, depending on front/rear, heavy load or not.

Granted, your TVR is about half the weight though.

TVR are pretty consistant on tyre psi from the Wedge through to the Sag at around 24psi even with differing tyre and wheel sizes.

I suggest going with the factory level for the 18s and adjust if they feel wrong. 30psi seems (to me) way to high unless you have super soft load rated 25/30 profile tyres!

Any more than 26psi makes the car feel very VERY nervous and quite a chore to drive. DO NOT put more than this in. Generally 24psi all round (cold) is a good start point and adjust as necessary to get even heat distribution across the tire.

Running the same 24/26psi combo on my PS4S 19" rimmed T350C. I use a 255x30/19 rear and 225x35/19 sizes as clearance is limited with the T350C arches front and rear. I'm tempted to go to 28psi on the rear.

I have 18" and don't go any higher than 22 psi. With the lower load index tyres now unavailable I'd be tempted lower rather than higher. I have Pilot Super Sports on the rears and PS3's on the front. I played with increments of 2psi down from 28 until I felt the car "right". 22-23 seemed to be the sweet spot. Not sure now much one inch bigger radius would come into play but doing your own testing would be the right route for me. I don't think anywhere within 22-28 is unsafe, it just comes down to feel. Tyre fitters have a blind spot with old school, lightweight cars. I'm sure tyre tech has some science but suspension behaviour does seem to still be a bit of a black art overlaying some sound principles.
