Does anybody know what the oil temp sender on the s6 is from originally? as mine has "gone west" an alarm for -10 oil temp on the hottest day of the year would seem to confirm this. and just starting it earlier it was reading 120!

I have same problem,,,, checked oil sender, and the wires fell out of the side of it,,,

did you find out what its from,,,,????
if not I will need to go to tvr dealer,,, its just they are quite a distance away

Guys,

Give Gorners a call and they may be able to post the part out to you. I bought an oil pressure sensor, water temp sensor as spares from them and it was just less than 40 quid incl P&P. The parts were ex stock and arrived a couple days later.

Thanks for the reply chaps, just got a temp sender from Fernhurst £21, so a bit of fettling over the weekend

Still 20K miles and so far new pressure sensor (leaked) and temp sender, so far so good

(apart from tyres, nitrons, CCC cans,steering wheel etc )
