Having successfuly retightened my gearstick, confidence is high (!).

Next job to conquer is.....while winding window up last week, a foot long strip of rubbber came with it. Since then, the drivers window rattles (understandably). It seems to be a retainer along the back edge of the glass.

At first look, I can't see any obvious ways of removing the door panel to replace the rubber - any clues anyone?

Thanks hopefully.

Adrian,

I have not removed the door panels as yet, but someone posted the method a few months back basically as follows:

"There's 3 (4??) allen head bolts in the bottom of the door pocket. Take them out & the trim slides out from under the ally strip on the top of the door".

Thats as much help as I can offer on this subject.

Regards

Graham
