Been having some issues with the Tuscan Vert. I had a issues with the battery voltage so I changed the 100a fuse in the engine bay, changed the battery and recently rebuilt the alternator. The car has been stood around a while due to a divorce and a couple of house moves, so I have been getting it up together.
The problem I have now is the battery is U/S despite being on a ctek and the immobiliser light is on full. The car won't turn (Suspect Immobiliser) but everything else works.
Anything I am missing?
Oh Btw the key fell apart today as well, now fixed. 2021 the year that keeps giving

My key fob fell apart, I re soldered the button back on to the pcb and it worked, later on it became water logged (long story) if you need a replacement key give Dave a ring at HF Solutions (Bushey, Herts) he can post them out to you and with a basic noddy guide the new key can be synchronised to the existing immobiliser, for time being you could try the spare key fob or fit the black immobiliser plug near to the red light. Is the battery fully charged ? Check the voltage on the dash display, should be near to 12.8 volts or greater, have had the battery recover from 7 volts on a gentle trickle charge before.
Good luck and post back later if you have any more info

Long story short - my Tuscan decided to immobilise itself on a cross channel ferry - right in front of about 100 HGVs who all wanted to get off. Turned out to be the cables coming loose from the imobiliser unit which is located in the driver's footwell - check your cables are all plugged in in case of poor connections causing voltage drain / battery issues.

The immobiliser died on mine after it was left with a dead battery for a while. I had to bypass it to get the car working.
Same here on my convertible.Mine died a couple of years ago also due to a flat battery I think.
Its in for service at the moment and finally getting the immobilizer sorted.
