Boot Solanoid not working

The boot will not open, the solanoid will not fire. I've poked about with the solanoid but cannot really get at it.

How do I get this out to fix / replace?

I can get into the boot it is getting access to the solaboid that I have problems with.

IIRC it's a carpet peel back moment to gain access!

Can you email me with the "boot trick" please? I occasionally get problems but they resolve themselves after a drive, don't keep anything in the boot now!

Sorry Adrian but on this occasion I'm going to have to disappoint. 1 month and only 20 posts I think your going to need a little more mileage on PH before anyone will supply sensitive information.

Give your local garage a ring they should be able to tell you the way in.

Could be either the solenoid or the switch, i.e the Tuscan badge, to test press the the badge with the boot open if your boot light dims slightly odds on it will be the solenoid, they tend to burn out, mine did replacing is thankfully a easy job which would be best discussed over the phone, i can talk you through it if you mail me a number, i got mine from Douglas valley, it is a Ford solenoid with a TVR modified bracket and lever arm IIRC
