So why am I thinking of selling...please stop me thinking about selling !!!

I keep having thoughts of a sensible:nerd: saloon type car (boring Boring) or a smaller car ...........Ahhhhhhhh Whats going on ? I have been to the doctors, he says there is nothing mentally wrong with me.:eek::silly:

So Why and I thinking or selling and going sensible:silly:

For a start, you may end up getting less than what you expect from buyers. I valued mine compared to an average price for year/condition on Pistonheads and Autotrader and eventally worked out to be about £4000 less when it was (eventually) sold. I completely overestimated the market for a car which was my dream car. I guess it is not to everyones taste!

I keep thinking the same.......

But I think it will be cheaper to buy a new one!

Here is the logic.....

1. Current car is expensive to run & repair.
2. New one will have warranty so will avoid repairs.
3. Finance can be taken with balloon so payments will not change.

Net result less money going out and new car being driven.

Then I keep getting these "your must be mad" thoughts.... The Sagaris bonnets blow off and the Tuscan 2 indicator stalk falls off and you cannot read the pod.

Then the weather is like today, roof off and great motoring… me thinks this car is great I’ll keep it!

What is wrong with me……

Help needed here too.

Ahhh, come in and take a seat.
You are all suffering from Tuscanitis, a well known problem of self doubt that affects a large percentage of people during Tuscan ownership.
You have achieved the dream by buying one in the first place. Received, and basked in the adulation of those less fortunate, and doubt starts to creep in. Those fuel bills are a leeetle bit hefty. Small things tend to go wrong that shouldn't, and the "sword of Damacles", sp of a re-build hangs over you.

The cure is obvious and painless.
You look out of your window at the best looking car on the road bar none IMHO. The sun is shining so you carefully remove the roof panel, start the SP6,grin ear to ear then go and subject yourself to the sort of performance that leaves you wondering why you ever had doubts in the first instance.

There is nothing like a good hard drive for reasuring you that you made one of the best decisions of your life buying one of these fantastic rocket ships.

You are a member of a very exclusive club with like minded members. There isnt a saloon available that will give you half the buzz.

That will be £5.00 please and close the door on your way out.

Back in here quick young man !!! You obviously dont read enough threads re the "Forum watching by our fine constabulary"
What you meant to say but hit the wrong key was 40mph, not that obvious rubbish about 140mph. Of course as that is twice the legal limit it is quite preposterous.
That piece of advice will set you back another fiver I am afraid.
