Bonnet catches
Discussion
I had a bonnet conversion done on the Tuscan which is great.
Is it only me or does anyone else hate the catches which need to be found and pushed in to open the bonnet. Has no one come up with a good alternative which functions easily but also looks good if its on view?
Interested to see whats out there

One of the worst, if not THE worst part of the car. I constantly battle with them, can’t get my fingers in the gap to push them in to release. I use 1/4” extension to try and push them free, lost count of the amount of times I’ve slipped off.
I do know some who have had the bonnet conversion have done away with these all together and rely on the nuts and struts to keep it down. I just don’t feel confident that it’s secure enough that way.
They also no longer manufacture them I believe, if you look on the parts websites it’s a knurled alternative that are worse for me.
