Bit of an unusual request....

Hi all

Thinking of buying a Tuscan, but hit a snag.

I'm a triathlete, so I need to be able to transport a road bike. Is it possible to fit a bike rack on a Tuscan?

Any help appreciated.

Try pulling it apart and putting it the boot

You can fit a bike in the boot, but it is a bit of a pain - wheels off, seat off.

I'm a short arse too, so if you have a particularly big frame size it might be tricky.

I suggest you try getting it in the boot. I would not be sure about fitting a rack as there are not many places you could mount it.

I wrote a similar post a while back, and was told to put it in my boot also. Looking at the flimsyness off the bootlid, they were dead right, there's no way anyone would attach a bike rack to a Tuscan!

I can fit a 58cm road bike in the boot of my Tuscan just by removing the seat and wheels. I can't fit my MTB in without removing the stem and bars though, as the suspension forks are much longer.

I can fit mine in the boot of the Chim, I think the boots are about the same size. Wheels in the passenger footwell, frame in the boot.

I'll take the bike along when I go and have a look at a few cars. It's a compact lightweight frame, so I might just get away with it ...
